You may have seen a number of subscription boxes geared toward yogis pop up over the last year or two. I have tried a few out and most are filled with a variety of different products from lip balm to socks. I came across a new box called Ashi Box on Instagram a couple of months ago. The first box they were releasing was a Ganesh box. As a lover of Ganesh I was intrigued to learn more about this new box and how it could possibly be different from other boxes I have purchased in the past. I visited their website and this is what I found, "Ashi Box is a monthly yoga subscription box curated by a yoga practitioner and India lover. Each Ashi box is designed to deepen your holistic yoga practice, and will include yoga love, India love, and life love."
Interesting, this is more than just small sized products or a new type of tea? I had to learn more so I reached out to the owner Heather to introduce myself and learn more about the box contents. Unfortunately at the time the Ganesh box had been shipped by the time I reached out but I learned a lot about Heather, he vision and mission to spread overall yoga love to the box subscribers. Heather went to India to hand pick the items for her box. Some items she even crafted herself. Her love and passion is held within each box. After a few emails we became friends and I asked about the Ganesh box and to my luck she had one left which I quickly purchased and I was not disappointed.
The second box the Diwali Ashi Box focuses on the 5-day festival of lights. I have outlined the contents of the box below and have included pictures (iPhone pictures so sorry for some of the quality).
I love supporting small businesses and purchasing their items. This box (and the prior one) are real gems and I hope this new business is around for a very long time. If you want your own Ashi box visit their website www.ashibox.com
I am anxious to see what the other boxes have. This is a box with a purpose, to enlighten, provide joy and to educate. Please check them out.
XOXO Christina
