Arroz con Leche Recipe

Here is my favorite quick recipe for arroz con leche. It only take a few easy to find ingredients and takes less than an hour.

While it is cooking your house will smell so delicious! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients:

1 Cup of Rice
4 Cups of Water
2 Cinnamon Sticks (I buy the ones from the Mexican food isle)
1 Cup of Milk (I use 2% but it is more flavorful with whole milk)
12oz Can of Evaporated Milk
14oz Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

Topping (Optional but delicious)
Cinnamon
Raisins (regular or golden or both!)

Directions: Add the rice and cinnamon sticks the 4 Cups of boiling water
Cook until the rice is soft
Drain the water
Add milk and bring to a boil
Cook stirring frequently until the rice is thick and creamy about 30-35 minutes
Serve warm and top with cinnamon and raisins
Hope you enjoy it!

Salsa Verde Recipe!

I am addicted to salsa and one of my favorites is Salsa Verde or how I like to call it Tomatillo Salsa. This salsa is really easy! One of the best things about salsa is you can customize it for your own taste. If you want it spicier add more peppers, if you hate cilantro you don't have to include it :) I hope you enjoy this video and the salsa! Ingredients:

10 Tomatillos
1 White Onion (only use as much as you like, you can start with half then add more)
2-4 Cloves of Garlic
1 Jalapeno Pepper
1 Serrano Pepper
1 Lime (or more!)
Cilantro Olive Oil
Salt (to taste)
