Handmade Dream Catchers

Each handmade dream catcher includes a healing stone based on the properties the recipient needs. Examples include rose quartz, tiger eye, red jasper, obsidian and more. The dream catcher has 5 wooden beads that represent the elements and natural leather and wooden beads are added for grounding.

Sometimes referred to as "Sacred Hoops," dreamcatchers were traditionally used as talismans to protect sleeping people, usually children, from bad dreams and nightmares. Ancestors believe that the night air is filled with dreams, both good and bad. When hung above the bed the dream catcher attracts and catches all sorts of dreams and thoughts into its webs. Good dreams pass through and gently slide down the feathers to comfort the sleeper below. Bad dreams, however, are caught up in its protective net and destroyed, burned up in the light of day. Each catcher is made to order so the design and stone may vary slightly.
