This recipe is one of my family favorites. I make it every year around the holidays but it can be enjoyed year round. What makes this recipe easy is the use of saltines, they also add a delicious salty twist on traditional toffee. I hope you enjoy it!
Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls!
Every year I make these sugar skulls for Day of the Dead. I don’t use molds, I find it easier to make the skulls by hand. Also if you use royal icing to make the writing icing your lines will be much neater. I use whatever icing I can get at the store to make it easier but it is a little sloppy but that is ok. I still love them!
Day of the Dead Paper Marigolds
I remember making these tissue paper marigolds when I was younger. I still have some on my altar from 10+ years ago. In this short video I will show you how to make these easy lovely marigolds that can be used for your Day of the Dead altar or as a lovely decoration in your home.
All you need is tissue paper and pipe cleaners which can be bought on Amazon or any craft store.
